So it’s official, LG’s mobile phone business is shutting down
The Korean company said in a regulatory statement that its shutting down their mobile business and will no longer produce mobile handsets
Their business has been losing money since 2015
Their losses reached 4.4 Billion Dollars last year
They reportedly had talks with vingroup (a Vietnam company) and Volkswagen to sell their mobile business but the talks fell through
