If you own Google Nest Cameras and Alexa/Fire displays, then this is for you. Google just updated its Alexa skill to add the ability to integrate the latest Nest Cameras and your Alexa Devices You can now stream your Smart Home Nest Cameras, Doorbells, and other devices straight to your Alexa Displays, and Fire Devices, like the Firestick.

You might remember Amazon making a similar update to their Google integrations a couple of months ago to integrate their Ring Cameras and Doorbells with third-party systems like Nest, Abode, and others, so it was expected that Google would do the same for their Nest cameras.

You can also use your Alexa devices to speak to people using your Nest Smart Doorbell.

Other integrations with Amazon have been available for some time now, like the ability to use your Nest Smart Thermostat with Alexa Devices, but this is the first time Nest Security Devices can work with Alexa.

Amazon is also working on adding Alexa announcements for the Nest Doorbell facial detection features.

Google Have already been receiving feedback from users about their issues with their ecosystem since the older Nest doorbell requires a different app than newer security cameras.
